This project has allowed me as an ‘amateur’ writer to further my knowledge and understanding of fashion writing. It allowed me to explore and try different house writing styles to fit a certain publication. My initial idea was to write for the magazine ‘Highsnobiety’ but I realised they did not have a variety of topics to explore compared to ‘Hypebeast’ so there was a decision to write for them instead.
In addition, I could have improved on using more multimedia throughout my project, such as podcasts to show I can communicate my work in different ways to the reader.
Overall, the project of writing for the publication ‘Hypebeast’ has been successful. This is due to the magazine allowing me to write about different topics that spring interest to me and further my knowledge on developing on the house style.
